The highly anticipated Deadpool 3 has been making waves in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and fans are in for a treat with the latest reveal. This time Wade Wilson is not alone in his chaotic adventures. He’s joined by none other than Dogpool, a canine variant of the iconic anti-hero.

Dogpool, as the name suggests, is a four-legged, fur-covered Deadpool. This quirky character first appeared in “Deadpool Corps” #2 back in 2010. Originally a regular dog named Wilson, he gained Deadpool’s healing factor through a bizarre experiment gone awry. Left for dead in a dumpster, he escaped and found his way to the circus, where he was dubbed “Deadpool the Daredevil Dog.” Equipped with enhanced agility, strength, and the ability to heal from injuries, Dogpool embarked on offbeat and chaotic adventures alongside other alternate versions of Deadpool in the Deadpool Corps.
The Confirmed Cast and Release Date
The confirmed cast for Deadpool 3 includes Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Emma Corrin as the villain, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an undisclosed role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna will also return as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and her girlfriend Yukio. Additionally, Jennifer Garner is set to make her comeback as Elektra.
Originally slated for a May 3, 2024 release, Deadpool 3 has been pushed back to July 26, 2024. Fans can’t wait to see how Dogpool’s antics play out alongside Wade Wilson’s trademark irreverence.
