Selena Gomez, the American singer and actress, has been chosen to portray the legendary American singer Linda Ronstadt in a new biographical film. The film is still in pre-production and there is no information about other cast members.

Linda Ronstadt is a country, rock ‘n’ roll, and Latin music legend. Her biggest hits were the albums “Heart Like a Wheel” (1974) and “Simple Dreams” (1977). In 2011, Linda Ronstadt announced her retirement from the music industry, revealing later that she can no longer sing due to a rare condition called progressive supranuclear palsy, which was originally misdiagnosed as Parkinson’s disease.

Selena Gomez, on the other hand, is an American singer, actress, and producer. She began her career as an actress in the children’s series Barney & Friends and gained prominence by playing Alex Russo in the Disney Channel original series Wizards of Waverly Place. She is also known for her roles in films such as Spring Breakers (2012) and The Dead Don’t Die (2019).

The choice of Selena Gomez to play Linda Ronstadt has been well received by the singer’s fans, who are eager to see the story of her life on the big screen. There is no information yet about the release date of the film.
