One of the most heartfelt deaths in the entertainment industry, Matthew Perry continues to generate interest. The toxicology report released today (15) by the Los Angeles authorities revealed the cause of the actor’s death, who according to the document, died from the “acute effects of ketamine”.

The death was considered accidental and other factors that contributed to the death were: drowning, coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine – an analgesic used to treat acute and intense pain, which can also be prescribed to treat opioid addiction.

At the end of October, the autopsy carried out on the actor’s body was considered “inconclusive”. At the time, the results of toxicology tests were awaited to determine Perry’s cause of death.

Medications for depression and anxiety were found in his home – a subject the actor used to speak openly about.

Matthew Perry, the eternal Chandler Bing, died on October 28, aged 54, at his home. The TV star spent much of his life fighting drug addiction, even recording his story in his autobiography released in 2022, titled “Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing”.
